Job Description: The Lankenau Institute for Medical Research (LIMR) located in Wynnewood PA is a world-renowned Institute dedicated to basic, clinical and translational biomedical research, with a focus on cardiovascular disease and cancer.
The new Cardiovascular Research Program at LIMR has Postdoctoral Fellow, Research Assistant Professor and Research Associate Professor full time positions available.
Qualified candidate must have a Ph.D., M.D./Ph.D. or M.D. degree or equivalent, a minimum of two years of experience with patch clamp methodologies (applied to cardiac myocytes), functional expression systems (such as HEK cells and/or induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes) and experience in whole cell and/or single channel recording to work as part of a team of scientists employing molecular genetics, molecular biology, cellular electrophysiology and stem cell techniques to understand the basis for and treatment of atrial fibrillation, heart failure-mediated arrhythmias and inherited cardiac arrhythmia syndromes.
